Laufende Ausstellung | 2009 | Kingdrips + khxx.com

Kingdrips und khxx.com werden im Rahmen der Laufenden Ausstellung eine gemeinsame Arbeit präsentieren:
khx wird unser Logo in 13 verschiedenen Versionen zu hochwertigem Schmuckobjekten verarbeiten. Diese werden aus Beton(!) gefertigt und insgesamt in einer Auflage von mehreren Hundert produziert.

Wir installieren alle an einer Wand im Kingdripsatelier und übermalen die gesamte Fläche mit einer Illustration, so dass jedes Objekt zu einem Unikat wird...
Die fertigen Anhänger könnt ihr euch vor Ort aussuchen und erstehen. Am Samstag, den 27.09. startet diese Aktion und wird über die Laufzeit der "Laufenden Ausstellung" fertiggestellt - kommt vorbei und schaut es euch an!

KINGDRIPS is a project run by 53'5°, fäbrock, spanish fly, lutz157 and 730express - five individual artists based in Hamburg, whose aesthetic influences range from graffiti and urban scenes to design and fine arts. This has lead to a wide range of very recognizable imagery: the brand Kingdrips. Up until now they have collaborated in several other projects such as the Friends With You Bootleg Show at heliumcowby artspace in Hamburg, or exhibitions for Modart-Magazine, just to name a few. Just as they juggle with different individual styles, they juggle with the boundaries between fine arts and commercially interesting works: in their eyes, it is a smooth transition as long as commercial interests don´t come into conflict with their creative and artistic freedom, which they are likely to express not only using design programs, but also hammers and wood if they feel like it.
Its all about Friendship and the dream to live like we like to...to work and have fun doing it!
